Established in 2003 by the Archdiocese of Detroit, The Servants of Jesus of The Divine Mercy invite people to come and experience the mercy of God with love and compassion through their peaceful place of refuge, the Shrine of Jesus The Divine Mercy. Many graces have been given, most notably the designation of the Center as an Archdiocesan Shrine of Jesus The Divine Mercy. It's a place where people come for encouragement, to take a breath, to hear the truth and to experience the living Jesus.

Originally founded in 1928 as a mission, Holy Spirit Catholic Church has transformed into a vibrant bilingual (Spanish and English) congregation serving Lake Wales, Florida, and the surrounding communities. The church community has young families, families with children, community leaders, and of course snowbirds. Holy Spirit Church loves being made up of a diversity of people, reflecting the beauty of our human family. One of the things that the church community is most well known for is service to the community through works of service, giving, and a deep and abiding sense of hospitality. The Spanish style mission architecture and grounds of Holy Spirit provide many community organizations with a safe haven for meeting, family, and community functions. Holy Spirit Catholic Church prides itself on holistic and dynamic ministries to all peoples including those who are incarcerated. Deacon Sam, has spent many years facilitating a dynamic prison ministry. Holy Spirit is thankful to serve Polk county with our works of faith like "The Respect Life Committee," "The Legion of Mary," Needlework for Christ sake, Marriage Prep, the third order of Saint Francis, Knights of Columbus, and many other ministries. Catholic Mass was first celebrated in Roseville in 1894 at Branstetter Hall in what is now Old Roseville. In 1908, a permanent church named Ascension of the Lord was built at East Grant Street. When a formal parish was established in 1911, the church’s name was changed to St. Rose of Lima, renowned in Lima, Peru and Patroness of Latin America and the Philippines. A new church, rectory, and St. Rose of Lima School were established at the present location in the 1960’s. The sisters of Mercy directed the school, which covered eight grades. Construction of the church was completed in 1966, under the leadership of Msgr. James Corcoran. The design of the church reflected reforms from the Second Vatican Council. The Parish remained faithful to the Catholic tradition in celebrating the Sacred Liturgy (Liturgia), announce the Good News (Kerygma), call the Community to Faithfulness (Koinonia), and proclaim Peace and Social Justice (Diaconia). As the years passed, the parish responded in faith to change and growth. The Parish School came under lay leadership, and permanent Deacons became part of the clerical ministry to the parish. Lay Ministries became part of the parish profile. During the 1980’s, the population of the area doubled, and though new parishes were established, St. Rose of Lima continues to serve beyond its parish borders. Parishioners reach out through the Cathlic Ladies Relief Society, the parish school, hospital ministry, Hispanic ministry, senior ministry, youth and young adult ministries, and social outreach. In addiction, through the St. Vincent de Paul Society and Knights of Columbus, hundreds of church volunteers serve in the spirit of the Gospel. St. Rose of Lima Parish has fostered ecumenical cooperation in outreach through many other ministries as well, including Home-start for troubled families, and most recently, The Gathering Inn, a traveling winter shelter. Parishioners are encouraged to take an active role in proclaiming the Kingdom of God by offering their gifts of time, talent and treasure.
