A captained charter with Newport Beach Sailing Charters is different from any other boat charter you may have previously experienced. This can be a truly INTERACTIVE experience, if that is what you wish! If you would enjoy taking the wheel and driving the yacht, you will get the chance to do so. If you would like to get your hands on the lines and trim the sails, you will! We offer classes at the BridgePointe Hotel & Marina in New Bern, NC. Our sailing grounds include the Neuse River, Pamlico Sound and the Atlantic Ocean. Destinations include Beaufort, Cape Lookout, Hatteras, Manteo, Morehead City, New Bern, Ocracoke, Oriental and Wilmington. Our courses are designed to be safe and fun as well as based on nationally recognized standards from both the American Sailing Association (ASA) and the United States Sailing Association (US Sailing). Our instructors are highly experience (USCG Captains) and have met the rigorous standards of either the ASA and/or US Sailing to become certified sailing instructors.
