We raise heritage breeds of poultry on pasture, free of pesticides or artificial ingredients, foraging is well supplemented with a high quality feed. Our birds live in multigenerational, multi species groupings and are free to move about all day. We do not raise commercial breeds, we choose our birds on the basis of flavor, not feed conversion. We maintain breeding stock and hatch out our own chicks, ducklings, goslings and poults. We sell baby birds in the spring, young adults in the fall and mature birds for the table in the fall and winter.

Welcome to Bob's Biddies Hatchery, We specialize in Hertitage Breed Chicks like the ones your Grandma used to raise. All of our chickens lay brown eggs and are considered a medium size chicken. These are gentle breeds such as "Dominiques"," Rhode Island Reds", "Buff Orpingtons", "Delawares", and "New Hampshire Reds". All our birds are raised on natural feed. We hatch and ship year round. All our chicks are professionally sexed. We are NPIP Certified. We are a small Disabled Run Business that is growing everyday. The fall of 2012 we will be offering four new breeds to our list. They are "Dena's Special" (our very own Breed), "Silver Laced Wyandotte", "Ameraucanas (Easter Egg Chicken), and the "Cuckoo Marans". Coming in Spring of 2013, we will be offering several breeds of turkeys. Check back with us on the individual breeds.
