We offer many accommodations to customize the stay you want for a member of your family, whether you have dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, or other little furry friends. Before you call to make your boarding reservation consider whether you want our 4x12 standard room, or a 5x16 luxury suite. We consider our larger suites to be more luxurious because they include a television, daily play in a supervised play yard, and a dog friendly ice cream treat at night. However, every room comes with a bed, blanket and rug and daily play can always be added if your dog enjoys to be around other dogs. What is daycare? Daycare is the daily play option we have here at Ruffner's. Depending on the weather dogs will play with the group outside on our K9 grass, or indoors in one of our large play rooms. Daycare is always supervised by staff, and dogs are separated based on both their sizes and temperments. If you are not sure how your dog will react in our daycare setting we can arrange a free aggression test to assure they feel comfortable in our space. Ruffner's Luxury Pet Boarding also offers bathing for dogs before they go home from a stay with us, or just stinky dogs that need to come for their regular bath. Baths include a nail trim, double rinse and shampoo, blow dry and ear cleaning. As of recent we are now offering grooming! Please call ahead for a grooming reservation so we can assure our certified groomer will be in that day. Price will depend on the size and behavior of your dog, and we can do teeth brushing for an extra cost. Our other amentities include a bakery in the store where we bake fresh birthday cakes and dog cookies. We have a large variety of flavors and are always happy to help celebrate your dogs birthday! We also offer dog massages by a professional dog masseuse for dogs who are nervous to stay overnight, who have joint/hip problems, or who just like to be pampered! We also proudly serve Royal Canin food products as well as Merrick canned foods as a convenience to be your one stop pet shop. Real World Canine provides structured day camp experiences for dogs of various temperaments. We provide treadmills for dogs to drain their energies, as well as kiddy pools to cool down and chill in (an in-ground pool is coming by the end of the year!!), as well as structured play groups. Our handlers keep a close watch on dog play, making sure that all dogs stay safe. We have also successfully rehabilited more than 200 dogs from fear-aggressive "yellow" dog status to happy-go-lucky, balanced "green" dog status. We pride ourselves on knowing every one of our four-legged customer deeply, and in meeting their needs, and also do our best to meet the needs of their pawrents.
