We are passionate about bringing families back to the dinner table by offering fresh, home-cooked, easy to prepare, family-sized meals. We always have seven meals on our menu which rotates monthly so you’ll never run out of delicious new dishes to try. We offer a variety of meals such as pastas, soups, casseroles, sandwiches, and our famous Chicken Pot Pie is a staple on our menu. Our family-style meals include home-style, lean and green, gluten-free and keto-friendly options. We are centrally located near the intersection of Fairchild and Gilbert Street in Danville, IL to serve the areas of Georgetown, Westville, St. Joseph, Bismarck, Covington and everyone in between All meals are $19.95 and serve 4 adults Hours are Monday through Friday 11 AM-6 PM. Saturday and Sunday we are closed. All meals are ready to cook within 30-75 minutes or can be frozen and saved for later. A Message From Our Owner: I have been passionate about cooking and baking since I was old enough to stand on a stool and help in the kitchen. Growing up I enjoyed spending time with my mom, grandparents, and granny in the kitchen preparing meals and desserts. We sat down at the dinner table every night and had Sunday dinner at granny’s every weekend. I have been involved in many catering and cake business ventures but I always dreamt of owning something of my own, that I could put my whole heart into. With Eric’s (my better half) encouragement, we opened The Slotted Spoon at the end of 2018. With the help of my sister Courtney (my cooking companion) and support of our giant and loving family, we have dedicated ourselves to preparing fresh and hearty meals from scratch for our friends, family, and community. We hope to make having a sit-down meal easy and accessible to help “bring families back to the dinner table”. ~Cassie
