Noble Shelters provides safe, affordable, and supportive shared housing throughout Central and South Texas — including Killeen, Temple, Waco, and Corpus Christi. Our mission is to offer clean, stable homes for individuals transitioning back into the community, including reentry, recovery, and veterans’ housing. Each Noble Shelters property offers structured living, accountability, and access to local resources to help residents rebuild their independence. We partner with social workers, case managers, and reentry programs to make housing placement simple and reliable

Emergency Shelter Provided they're not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, walk-in guests are offered a bed for seven days, along with showers, food, clothing, counseling, care and spiritual support. Case Management Samaritan House guests are strongly encouraged to take advantage of 30- to 90-day Case Management care--an accountability-based program that helps them get back on their feet, and begin their journey into a self-sufficient life.

The Union County Community Shelter has programs to help the homeless and hungry, living in Union County. They supply shelter, a soup kitchen, a food bank & a donation center. The Union County Community Shelter serves as a homeless shelter & transitional shelter. We provide a food pantry and soup kitchen, daily meals, homeless assistance, a donation center and much more. We also offer provide programs to help individuals achieve self-sufficiency. There are also volunteer opportunities for the community to help the Union County Community Shelter. Community members are encouraged to volunteer in the food pantry, serve and/or prepare meals, help with fundraising, etc. We also take food donations and clothing donations, as we serve as a food bank, soup kitchen and clothing donations center.

IHNGK is a nonprofit corporation which unites local churches to provide shelter, meals and comprehensive case management to homeless families with children. Each Host Church provides overnight shelter and meals for a week at a time. During the day adults are taken to a Day Center where a Case Manager works with them to develop a plan which includes budgeting and linking the families with social services, employment, education and job skills training, health care, day care etc. IHNGK's goal is to help families overcome whatever barriers they might have to obtaining employment and housing so that they will be able to provide stability for their children. Families remain in shelter until they move into their own housing as long as they are pursuing their Self-Sufficiency Plan.

Pallet is a Seattle-based social purpose corporation that designs and produces stand-alone, portable tiny houses for the purpose of transitional housing and temporary shelter in disaster relief situations. The goal is to provide shelter that is more private and dignified than sleeping in a tent or outdoors. Pallet is transforming lives with rapid, dignified and stable shelter for people facing homelessness

Mickens House serves as an Emergency Shelter facility for Homeless Veterans. Long-term and transitional housing is available. Room & Boarding as well as transportation to and from Medical/Mental health care appointments at the Birmingham VA is provided.
