Lights Back On was established as a community action nonprofit organization in 2020 because of the Winter Storm of 2013. We lived in poverty and went a year without heat or hot water. We know how it feels to be homeless or having to choose between a hot meal or paying your bills. Therefore, our focus is to help end poverty.

We are BUILDING, STRENGTHENING, and UPLIFTING cancer patients and their families in their time of diagnosis, treatment and recovery by providing a needed one-on-one support system with personal mobility assistance, home care assistance and emotional support.

We do outreach to troubled individuals with problems of alcohol, drugs and other life altering situations. Girls on the Run® is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams. Meeting twice a week in small teams, we teach life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and running games. The curriculum is taught by certified Girls on the Run coaches and includes three parts: understanding ourselves, valuing relationships and teamwork and understanding how we connect with and shape the world at large. Running is used to inspire and motivate girls, encourage lifelong health and fitness, and build confidence through accomplishment. Important social, psychological, and physical skills and abilities are developed and reinforced throughout the program. At each season's conclusion, the girls and their running buddies complete a 5K running event which gives them a tangible sense of achievement as well as a framework for setting and achieving life goals. The result—making the seemingly impossible, possible, and teaching girls that they can.

Police Officers of Scottsdale Association was founded in 1998 and is made up of men and women who serve in law enforcement for the City of Scottsdale. The members are so dedicated to helping the community that in 2005, POSA Outreach, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization was created. POSA Community Outreach programs benefit families in the Scottsdale and phoenix metropolitan areas through unique annual and monthly programs such as "Sirens and Sleigh Bells" a holiday shopping program, "Covering the Bases" a back to school program, "KidCare ID" photo ID and fingerprinting program, "Cops Shred It Day" an identity protection secured shredding program and many more!
