Villa Maria Academy, a Catholic private day school for girls in grade K-8, and co-ed Early Learning Center for three and four year olds located in Immaculata, Pennsylvania, was established in 1872 by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Nestled on the Gulf of Mexico, Bay St. Louis (population 9,408) has served as the home to Saint Stanislaus since its founding in 1854. The campus of Saint Stanislaus is a short walk to historic Old Town Bay St. Louis which is home to art galleries, restaurants, and fine boutiques. Bay St. Louis is in the center of two major metropolitan areas – New Orleans is 70 miles to the west and Gulfport-Biloxi is 21 miles to the east. The Brothers of the Sacred Heart were founded by a French priest, Father Andre Coindre (1787 – 1826) in 1821.
