One year later tragedy struck as a fire damaged the property. Wehrung's Chalfont was quickly renovated with an expanded store and lumber bay to better serve the community.

Since 1955, Fanaro Bros operated as a family-owned and operated department and hardware store in the heart of Montgomery County. Wehrung's purchased Collegeville in 2020 to continue the legacy with extended offerings, including home-improvement products and building materials, including lumber, tools, paint, farm, and pet supplies.
