Chalfont Hardware opened in 1958 and quickly grew into a community staple. 57 years later, in 2015, Wehrung's Family of Businesses purchased the store to become Wehrung's Hardware. One year later tragedy struck as a fire damaged the property. Wehrung's Chalfont was quickly renovated with an expanded store and lumber bay to better serve the community.

Since 1955, Fanaro Bros operated as a family-owned and operated department and hardware store in the heart of Montgomery County.
