His professional sales career has him going to every end of this country and along the way sampling as many new and exciting beers from local brewers as often as he can. Jim Cagle handles the boring stuff: bills, taxes, budgets, etc. Exciting, right? No worries. Jim loves spreadsheets almost as much as great local beers. Lock & Mule derives its name from Lockport’s wonderful history and association with the I&M canal, where mules would pull longboats up and down the waterways and through the locks that were scattered along the canal. However, it was not only Lockport’s storied history that attracted us to the city – we were equally drawn by its ambitious vision and drive to unlock its potential and create a future even more illustrious than its past.

In the case of Glenview we took our inspiration from the story of the Naval airbase, through which generations of pilots and servicemen and women passed, including George H Bush and Neil Armstrong. We have tried to capture this sense of adventure not just in our name but in our globally-inspired menu, drawing on flavors, ingredients and textures from around the world.
