Baldwin County Sewer Service, LLC operates three WWTPs, 147 lift stations, 2.5 million linear feet of sewer force mains with over 450 square mile footprint. The Authority's service area encompasses approximately 24 square miles. The service area includes the area within the corporate limits of the City of Orange Beach and surrounding territory and forms an irregular rectangular shape, extending along the coastline of the State of Alabama between the City of Gulf Shores on the west and the Alabama-Florida state line on the east, and between the intracoastal waterway, Wolf Bay and Perdido Bay on the north and the Gulf of Mexico on the south, including Ono Island and part of Perdido Key on the southeast but not including the Gulf State Park on the southwest. The Authority is the only supplier of potable water in the Authority's service area.
