Raised on the idyllic shores of Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island, Amanda attended the prep school St. Mark's and then University of Vermont, where she was a member of their nationally ranked sailing team. With a degree in business under her belt, Amanda relocated to Napa Valley to begin her wine education where she worked with some of the industry's most renowned winemakers and viticulturists, spending time in the cellar at Etude Wines and the biodynamic vineyards at Robert Sinskey. Since then Amanda has worked with wine programs at some of the best restaurants in the country, starting at Thomas Keller's famed French Laundry. Currently the Wine Director at Chef John Fraser's Dovetail on Manhattan's Upper West Side, formerly she worked with Mario Batali at his flagship Greenwich Village
