Friends Interpreting Services (FIS) is a small, home-based interpreting agency originating in West Virginia. In reaching for a vision I had several years ago, FIS was established as a business to nurture interpersonal relationships between clients and independent contractors, providing a comfortable working environment for both sides. It is my personal goal to achieve excellent customer service for our deaf clients.
As a fledgling company, our greatest need is freelance and certified interpreters who will share our passion to provide their best to our deaf clients, and those who are interested in helping an independent business grow.
