Mom Trek was founded by me, Captain Myway, in 2009. A life long resident of Kansas City & a life long fan of all things Trek, I wanted to do something totally unique... I decided to blog! In all seriousness, Mom Trek is about the continuing journey of life, family & friends in the city that we call home. KC has such a huge metro area that spans 2 states with... major sports teams, unique shopping, fun dining, an amusement park or two and on and on I could go... there are hundreds of places in & around KC that people NEED to know about. Our crew is having a great time all over KC, trying new things, meeting new people & telling new stories. We are a closet group of nerds out to have fun, do some reviews & keep our alter egos a secret so we can continue to go about our business normally!

Uniformed Services Health Professional Placement (USHPP) is a private placement firm that works exclusively with active duty military physician, retired military physicians and military spouses that are looking for civilian employment when their Service to our country is over. USHPP was started by a former Army Urologist and Army Chaplain that were interested in helping make the transition from the military to the civilian job market as easy and smooth as possible. We offer information and guidance for each of the physicians we work with to help them make the best informed decision possible.
