I am a Westport based photographer with twenty plus years of experience. When I photograph a subject I aim to capture its essence - its humanity, nature and beauty. When photographing children and families I capture their spirit and gesture to create timeless portraits. I observe while I wait for the moment when the people I am photographing are relaxed and free. Children are fascinating subjects because they embody innocence, curiosity and imagination - these are the qualities I search for when looking through my lens. photo shoot with me involves no poses and no formalities. When I photograph a wedding I look for intimate moments. The reception is a photojournalistic documentation of the celebration of your wedding day.

I can't remember a time in my life when I did not have an interest in photography. As a child I would spend hours flipping through photo albums. It was in my teens when I received my first camera as a gift that I began taking child portraits when I would babysit, just for fun. As I grew older my interest in photography grew. I have boxes and albums full of photos, and now tens of thousands of photos since I made the switch to digital photography. I spend a lot of time researching editing techniques, scouting outdoor locations, and discovering and creating new photographing and posing techniques.
