Forest Hill Cemetery was established in 1883 and is located in Birmingham, AL. We are just around the corner from Birmingham International Airport. We are located in a historical part of Birmingham with rolling hills and a creek that flows through the gardens with views of downtown Birmingham We have extremely old graves dating back to 1802, with figures such as a Revolutionary War Soldier W. N. Pullen and his wife, along with the former governor of Alabama, Rufus W. Cobb. We have buried here some revolutionary war veterans, a prisoner from the Bay of Pigs, a former Mayor of Birmingham and a former governor of Alabama. We also have many prominent citizens of Birmingham and some founding fathers of Birmingham buried here.

Ridout’s Forest Crest was purchased from the Drennen Real Estate Co. in 1965 and the cemetery was established in 1967. It is located on a 60 acre hillside between Irondale and Leeds. Forest Crest Cemetery sits atop a mountain and has beautiful views of the surrounding areas. There are two ponds located on the property, and we are located near the Cahaba River. With the gorgeous views and the peaceful secluded area, the cemetery is also convenient to I-20, but is still located in a woodsy area away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Forest Crest cemetery’s employees are family-oriented and focus on the needs of our families.

Walker Memory Gardens is located in Jasper, AL, which is located close to Smith Lake and Bankhead National Forest. Our cemetery was established in 1957. Our cemetery offers a natural, peaceful environment. We have a beautiful pond with fish located in our gardens and wildlife is prevalent. There are deer, wild turkey, foxes and raccoons. We have Bradford Pear trees, Dogwood Trees, Crepe Myrtles and beautiful huge Water Oak Trees throughout our beautifully maintained grounds.

Established in 1954, Huntsville Memory Gardens prides itself as a comforting and peaceful cemetery where the lives of loved ones can be remembered and appreciated forever. Depending on your need, Huntsville Memory Gardens has mausoleum building, above ground burials as well as niche crypts for cremation. At Huntsville Memory Gardens we are dedicated to providing a sanctuary of peace for the living. Beautiful statues placed throughout the cemetery enhance the natural beauty of the gardens. Our many trees and exquisite landscaping add beauty throughout all seasons and people who come here are comforted in knowing that its beauty is everlasting.

Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens is located on Highway 72 in Florence, Alabama. The cemetery began selling lots in 1954 and our first burial took place in 1955. We have three garden style mausoleum buildings, with the last one being built in 1991. These buildings add grace to the cemetery, providing a sense of pride and prestige.

Brothers Jess and George Edwards built Valhalla Cemetery in the early 1900s. The Edwards family came from Brighton, England, and founded the city of Brighton, Ala., and built the first church in Brighton. Jess went to preparatory school in New York and was a pharmacist and legislator. In the course of his travels, he was impressed by Valhalla Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo., and built Valhalla Cemetery as an exact duplicate of the St. Louis Valhalla Cemetery. The cemetery office was built in 1927 for $30,000: an extravagant price for that era. When Jess died, the cemetery went to nephew Harry Edwards, and when Harry retired he brought in his son, Jesse, along with Jesse's wife, to run the cemetery. Jesse and his wife, Channon, continued to improve the cemetery, building a funeral home

Forestlawn Gardens was established by James Miller in 1954 as one of the first perpetual care bronze memorial garden cemeteries in the area. Forestlawn Gardens is located off Interstate I-20, in the valley of the Appalachian foothills, in Anniston, Ala. Forestlawn Gardens has 11 developed gardens, a mausoleum for both crypt entombments and niches for internments. Sights are available for private mausoleum entombments. A candlelight remembrance service is held annually on the first Saturday in December. The service is held with the help of the Anniston Civitan Club, and all are invited to witness the beautiful transformation of our park into a warmly glowing tribute to those who cannot be with us. Donations raised from the service are given to charities sponsored by the Civitan Clu

Established in 1953, Lakeview Memory Gardens is located in Phoenix City, Ala. We are the largest and only cemetery in our area with perpetual care. We are located near the beautiful Chattahoochee River. We have about 30 acres of developed Gardens and still have about 30 acres of undeveloped grounds. We are in the process of developing a new mausoleum Garden, and plan to be finished with it this year (2009). There is a quaint pond at the entrance to Lakeview Memory Gardens. Two landscaped mausoleums are visible from the entrance. We have both Monument Gardens and Gardens for flat markers. These gardens are landscaped with Magnolia trees, Crape Myrtle trees, pine trees, roses, and hedges.
