Dating back more than four generations, the Bozzano family’s history in farming began in Italy almost 100 years ago. There, the small family farm was well-known and loved for their growing and processing of olives and olive oil for the entire community. When 15 year-old Lino Bozzano immigrated to the United States, he brought that tradition of service with him as he struck out to make a name for himself in Stockton, California. There he planted tomatoes, quickly becoming known for his attention to detail and perfection… the humble beginnings of what would in time become the American branch of the Bozzano Family Farm. In later years, the Bozzano family replaced their tomato crop in California with cherries, and in January 2007, the focus switched again to olives and olive oil. An interesting tale of perseverance and hard work, it’s amazing to see how in four generations the Bozzano Farm has come full circle – from a small olive farm in Italy to the expansive olive ranch it is today in Northern California.
