Aside from cork crafting, Trina is the Vice president of Ladies of Like Mind, A Community Coalition. Her philanthropic efforts are also a long standing passion of hers. The last passion that she has is writing. Ms. Davenport writes a monthly article for a local publication (that she would like to remain private), in addition, she is working on a treatment as well a short story. The idea to create "something" with corks happened well before the actual frames came to fruition. She said to herself, "I love the way these corks look, there has to be something crafty I can do with them." The actual concept came to her many months later. It took some time to critique her style so that it would be signature, but the outcome satisfied her immensely.
