Deb au Nare's Burlesque Academy of Asheville was founded in January of 2015. Currently located in Colourfield Studio in downtown Asheville. We offer classes that are suitable for any level of experience from beginner to advanced! With 8 years of experience, Deb has been on both performing and producing ends of the Burlesque scene. She has been featured on America's Got Talent, has headlined shows in New York as well as internationally in Toronto and has won awards for her signature chair routine. Deb has taught her own series of classes in Jacksonville, FL, and also taken classes from such renowned performers as Jo Weldon, Dirty Martini and Perle Noire.

Janice Godwin has been teaching dance for over 20 years throughout Eastern North Carolina. She is very active in the local community as well as judging dance competitions, beauty pageants, casting for shows and coaching students who have appeared on ABC, CBS, and HBO. She is the owner of Janice's Fabulous Feet Dance Studio in Dunn, N.C., where she has instructed students for 15 years. She has also taught dance classes for The North Carolina Dance Institute in Raleigh, N.C. for the past 10 years. Janice strives to help her students achieve their fullest passion in dance, acting, modeling and theatre arts. Her dance methodology teaches self esteem, discipline, and the strength for the student to reach their highest potential in their everyday life.

Gotta Dance! offers dance lessons to children ages 2 and up in a fun and creative learning environment encouraging each child to reach his or her full potential. We offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Tumbling, Lyrical, Pointe, Kinder Dance, Tiny Tots and also private lessons are available. Also available for cheerleading camps and clinics.

Vaganova method which is the Russian technique. The training system is designed to involve the whole body in every movement, with equal attention paid to the upper body, legs and feet. Vaganova believed that this approach increases consciousness of the body, thus creating a harmony of movement and greater expressive range.

BU Dance & Fitness, A Division of BUMBLEBEE UNIVERSITY, mission is to provide professional dance instruction and instill an appreciation for the art of dance in a safe, high-quality studio environment. We will encourage students of all ages and skill levels to excel to their fullest potential while having fun.
