We are a new dance studio in Ferndale, MI offering a variety of classes to both children and adults. At The Institution of Dance Arts, we investigate dance as an art form and explore our instinctual need for movement. We provide our students not only with the knowledge of dance movement, vocabulary and history, but also with skill sets that will enhance their lives outside of dance. We offer classes in all genres to all ages and levels within a safe, nurturing, and educational environment, allowing us to create lifelong dancers who appreciate the art of movement.

At Main Stage Center for the Arts our focus is on the ability of the individual student. Our goal is to help every dancer attain their highest potential as a dancer and as a person. Discovery Dance offers Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop Fusion, Modern Dance, Lyrical, Tumbling, Creative-Movement, and Motor Movement classes for ages: 18 months through Adults. Our students learn to express themselves creatively through improvisation; to execute dance & tumbling movement with proper skill and technique; proper ballet terminology; the art of performance and to appreciate dance as an art form. We also strive to teach each student to feel good about themselves & to have a positive view of lifelong fitness. We are committed to fostering an environment that will promote diversity, while always choosing movement and music that are appropriate and decent for people of all ages.
