Built in 1905, Doane Dance (in conjunction with the Eisner Center) is home to Denison University's Dance Department. Originally a gymnasium, the building was also home to art studios before being renovated to house the dance department starting in 1975. A large studio/performance space seating 100 is equipped with a full set of theatrical lights and a professional sound system. The building also houses a seminar room, a student computer lab, and a conference room.

The Lorraine Goddard Dance Studio is a professional school opening it's doors for the sixty third season of dance excellence. We offer classes in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, acro-gymnastics, contemporary, and hip hop for all age groups, beginner through advanced levels. We also offer mommy and me classes for 2 and 3 year olds, and pre-school combo classes for 3 and 4 year olds.

The company was formed in March, 2009 when Lynne was asked to create a show using photographs, shadows and dance that would make the audience remember Colorado for a worldwide sporting delegation that was held in Denver.
