The Magic Chef Mansion is a historic landmark in St. Louis, MO. The mansion was originally constructed in 1908 for Charles Stockstrom, the founder of the Quick Meal Stove Company, later renamed Magic Chef. In the fall of 1990, the current owner began the painstaking process to restore it to its turn-of-the-century elegance, including original lighting fixtures and period furnishings. The mansion is only open during scheduled public or private tours. Tickets may be purchased in advance using Eventbrite or at the door the day of the tour. Private group tours of the mansion can be arranged and we also offer holiday-centric tours, guided tours, special event hosting, and much more. We'd like to personally invite you to call any day between Noon and 5:00 PM. Tours are by appointment only. We would like to offer everyone a chance to experience this home.
