Chickens make wonderful pets and are excellent at natural weed and pest control. We help people live a healthier, more self-sustaining lifestyle by offering our pasture raised point-of-lay pullets to the backyard enthusiast at affordable prices. We breed and raise laying hens up to the point-of-lay which can take 6 to 8 months depending on the breed of chicken. Our primarly stock includes Rhode Island Reds, Barred Plymouth Rocks, Delawares, Red Stars, and Black Stars. All of the aforementioned breeds are dual purpose and lay a large to jumbo brown egg. Occasionally, we offer Welsummers and Speckled Sussexs. We also sell nest run eggs, straight run chicks, young roos, and assorted dual breed hatching eggs consisting of our primary breeds offered at the time.
