Dr. Bruetman returned to CTCA after serving for 19 years as Director of Medical Oncology at the Goshen Center for Cancer Care in Goshen, IN. He completed a master's degree at Carnegie Mellon University. He brings over 30 years of oncology experience to the Outpatient Care Center, as well leadership expertise after overseeing the development of integrative cancer treatment programs. He has conducted extensive research on leading-edge innovations in cancer care and worked as a clinical instructor in internal medicine. Dr. Bruetman earned his medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine in, Argentina, completed an internal medicine residency at Advocate Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL and a medical oncology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology, he received his Master of Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Jalal Baig joined Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) at the Outpatient Care Center in Gurnee, Illinois. The center offers patients in and around the Far North Chicago suburb convenient access to personalized cancer treatment closer to home. As a Medical Oncologist at CTCAÂ, Dr. Baig evaluates and treats patients with various types and stages of cancer. He works with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan and collaborates with a multidisciplinary care team to implement it. Dr. Baig takes time to educate his patients and their family members, to help them understand their treatment options.

Syed Abutalib, MD, is Assistant Director of the Stem Cell Transplant & Cell Therapy Program and Hematologist & Medical Oncologist and a Hematologic Oncologist at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA), Chicago. Dr. Abutalib earned his medical degree from Dow Medical College. He is accepting new patients.

Dr. Dennis Citrin is a board-certified medical oncologist with more than four decades of experience. His current practice is exclusively devoted to patients with all stages of breast cancer. Dr. Citrin works with a team of experts to help patients fight breast cancer at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA), Chicago. Working in the breast clinic, Dr. Citrin provides comprehensive care to those who have breast cancer and other high-risk breast conditions. He talks to patients about treatment options available including surgery, chemotherapy, targeted therapy and radiation. Through open communication and planning, he helps patients at CTCA develop a comprehensive whole-person approach to cancer treatment.
