Dr Katz completed his allergy and immunology fellowship at the prestigious National Jewish Medical & Research Center in Denver Colorado in 1994. He is board certified in both pediatric and adult allergy & immunology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology. He is also a member of the American Contact Dermatitis Society, the Joint Council of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the Clark County Medical Society and the Nevada State Medical Association. Dr Katz graduated from University of the Witswatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1986. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland Ohio in 1991 and went on to Chief Residency at Mount Sinai which he completed in 1992. Dr Katz has been in private practice in Las Vegas since 1997 and prior to that was in practice in Washington D.C. He is frequently quoted in the newspaper and often appears on TV as a local allergy & asthma expert.
