With this purchase, Bristolite was formed into the “Light + Air” division of Kingspan. Kingspan Light + Air North America is still the same team and expertise that has been involved with the skylight and daylighting industry for over 50 years. We are still located in 3 pivotal locations through the U.S. – Santa Ana, CA, Terrell, TX and Marietta, GA. Kingspan Light + Air is a $250m, 1,100 employee business globally and is the first division established in 20 years out of the five divisions now making up Kingspan Group. Our unique patent pending design gives a pleasant low profile look over conventional bubble tubes. It also allows for a larger surface area in order to capture more light. Made from 24 gauge galvanized coated steel. Pitch plate is coated with sillver enamel to reflect more light down the tube. We will never give you plastic polypropylene flashings. (Spectralume Tubing) Designed and patented in Germany. This tubing is not a laminated plastic film but is an actual permanant coating applied via (PVD) Physical Vapor Deposition. At 98% reflection this ridgid tube cant be beat, when it comes to reflection quality, color rendering and longevity. We will never use low quality flex tubing or laminated tubing. (Optifuse Diffuser​) We use a lens with prisms on both sides. This allows the light to be broken up more giving a nice pleasant look and spreading the light evenly. Comes with a secondary lens above to stop heat and cold. The trim ring is powder coated 24 gauge steel, not plastic. Attaches to a metal mounting ring with rare earth magnets. (Diamond Dome) Made from high impact CC2 non yellowing acrylic. High clarity and long life is what this dome is gauranteed to give. By having four facets to our diamond dome it turns the whole top into one large prism which increases light input down the tube.
