HIX® Corporation was started as HIX Automation in 1963, in a Pittsburg Kansas gas station by the Hix brothers, making dryers for the graphics industry. They soon expanded into printers and heat presses. HIX Automation was purchased in 1989, when HIX Automation was simply changed to HIX Corporation. Over the next 30 years, HIX Corporation continued to increase the product offerings by expanding into industrial ovens and food processing equipment which are sold worldwide. As HIX approaches 60 years old, we continue to grow and innovate in each industry we serve.
