Advocacy is so very important, I know that now more then ever. I know I survived my accident for many reasons, to continue to be a best friend and wife to my husband, and a mother to our 4 children, but also a teacher, one who tells a story of survival and of learning how to do things differently and in new ways. Also though of what not to do behind the wheel and why. The lady who hit me was 60 yrs. old and could be anyone's grandmother.
