Center for Higher Expectations is a non-profit organization that responds to the needs of families, individuals and youth who have had contact with the juvenile and criminal justice systems within Chicago and South Suburbs. The professional dedication and belief in change for our clients is what drives our ability to keep striving for the development of higher expectations. We depend solely on a team of qualified , passionate and dedicated individuals, organizations and companies to enhance an indepensable level of professionalism within the organization. We provide music instruction, math and science career exploration, employment training, male parenting program, advanced education preparation, girls in charge group, mentoring, photography/film production, professional clothing.

Our purpose is to teach youth through individual empowerment toward self-improvement in personal, social, academic, vocational and economic skills which would nurture a positive growth in spirituality, responsibility, education, work relations, and family structure. L.A.D.Y is a non-for-profit designed to help and nurture young ladies between the ages 12-19 years of age. In the difficult day and time, we at L.A.D.Y understand how important it is to have an outlet, a voice, and a sense of pride in order to make it in this world. L.A.D.Y was founded by Ebony Black when recognizing the need and guidance and nurturing and a positive influence for young ladies today. "I realized that it is imperative to the future of young ladies to have a source of inspiration, someone to look up to, a positive outlet in order to succeed". L.A.D.Y hopes to become a beacon of hope for all inner city young ladies, and show them that there is better way, that there is hope and that young women are able to successfully achieve their goals and become vital, prosperous member
