Alcohol Treatment Centers Kansas City helps those struggling with alcohol dependency to experience and enjoy complete rehabilitation. Once a treatment plan is established, it is systematically administered and continuously reevaluated as treatment progresses. Alcoholism treatment plans consist of medical detox, yoga, group and individual counseling, and aftercare planning. This process has proven to be effective in reducing the chance of relapse and maintaining long term sobriety in our patients.

The Livingston County C2000 Team is a volunteer organization that exists to promote healthy lifestyles and a growing, healthy productive environment for citizens of Livingston County and the surrounding area, by providing alcohol, tobacco, drug abuse and violence prevention services to families and individuals. The Livingston County C2000 team is a subcommittee of the Community Wellness Committee, an organization of caring professionals from all walks of life which meets monthly to address mutual issues. We saw a need to focus on prevention of underage and binge drinking, drug abuse, underage tobacco use while promoting strong families.
This project made possible through funding provided by the Department of Mental Health, Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse.

Except for one room the meetings and 5000 sq. ft. facility are smoke-free. It is handicap accessible, has ample off-street parking, a kitchen, snack and pop machines, Recovery Library of tapes and books, photocopier, computer and printer, children's play area, extensive outdoor open space, Recovery Book Shoppe, free store, community bulletin boards, free recovery literature, 3 meeting rooms, 1 large central meeting hall with a stage and podium, and 4 restrooms.
The RECOVERY JOURNAL is published free twice annually and distributed to regional meeting places. It lists meeting schedules by town and articles of general interest to people in recovery. Anyone may submit material for publication by sending to our mailing address or to [email protected]
