The Windsor Jazz Ensemble is a 15 member jazz band playing familiar tunes from the 40's through the 80's. The band has been performing in the Sonoma County area for 4 years playing a wide variety of venues including wineries, private parties and celebrations, dinner dances, and outdoor events. Playlists can be created to fit your event or occasion. All music is great to dance to and includes everything from hot swing like Jump, Jive and Wail to slow ballads with mellow sax solos such as Stormy Weather. When WJE performs it's about YOU, the audience, the listener, the dancer. No 20 minute improv solos, just accessible, familiar music that everyone loves and knows.
