Kim Quinn founded Prima Tech USA in November, 1996. The company was first named VAC-PAC, Inc. and was run out of a spare bedroom in Kim's home. VAC-PAC, Inc. sold VAC-PAC? bottle holders for animal vaccines, as well as two different types of animal health vaccinators. In those early days, Kim traveled to hog farms and sold products out of the trunk of his car. Within a year, the company grew enough to move to a one room office in Kenansville, North Carolina. In its second year, the company grew again. Prima Tech USA expanded to two rooms, and then to a larger shared office with warehouse space in Warsaw, North Carolina. By this time, the company sold replacement parts for vaccinators, in addition to bottle holders and new vaccinators. In 1998, a new company, KMQ, Inc. was formed. T
