Vermont Natural Foods was officially registered a Limited Liability company on April 24, 2007 by the State of Vermont.The founder, Jacob Snyder, has been involved in the culinary industry from the age of 14, when he began washing dishes for camp kitchens and small local restaurants. During high school he joined a culinary arts vocational program for 3 ½ years, with on the job training as a prep cook. In September of 2003 he began attending the New England Culinary Institute, studying for a year, and performing an internship with the Basin Harbor Club, a prestigious summer resort. All of the time he was going to school for the culinary arts, he was thinking intensely about the specialty foods industry,and researching the process of owning a business.
