She became fascinated with the work Dr. Thomas Najarian was doing in his weight loss practice and went to work with him in Los Osos. Carol helped patients with medical weight loss plans with Dr. Najarian for 7 years. After he retired, she decided to start her own practice.She opened her own weight loss program in 2011 with Dr. William E. Franklin as her supervisory physician.
