Dr Ludwig is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with a fellowship in sports medicine at ASMI under the direction of Dr. James Andrews. His special interests are athletic injuries, ACL reconstruction, arthroscopy of the shoulder and knee, fracture care, and total joint reconstruction (knee, hip, shoulder). He is certified to perform MAKO Robotic Arm Assisted Knee Surgery for resurfacing of the knee. Dr Ludwig covers sporting events and provides athletic screenings for high school and college athletes and is the team physician for Mercer University's baseball program, Middle Georgia State University, and Fort Valley State University. Dr Ludwig has authored multiple book chapters, medical journal articles and enjoys presenting at conference.
