I am a Board Certified Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist in a private practice in the Point Richmond area, with an additional office in Santa Rosa, CA. I specialize in the assessment and treatment of adults with psychiatric problems. I am able to prescribe medications, and do psychiatric assessments like a psychiatrist, with the added benefit of being able to spend more time with patients helping them understand their diagnosis. My main area of expertise is psychopharmacology (or medication management). I have significant clinical, and academic backgrounds in the areas of Psychopharmacology, Management of Mood Disorders, Adult ADD/ADHD, Major Depressive Disorders, Anxiety, Chemical Dependency, ACOA, and Addiction Recovery.
