Connecting Self Supporting Churches, Evangelism, Bible Work, Health Ministry, Canvassing, Christian Eduction, Present Truth Publishing
An outgrowth of the revival movement led by John W. Manns and Lewis C. Sheafe in 1916. Both men were uniquely gifted and ahead of their time. This revival movement was centered around correcting the discriminatory practices of church leaders and the normalization of racial segregation in the church. The revival was also a call to true biblical Christianity as it related to religious liberty. It began in Savannah Georgia at a church at 610 West 36 Street in Savannah Georgia and hundreds were baptized at the time due to the spiritual anointing of both men in the area of revival and evangelism. Hundreds of missionaries went forth and spread the gospel under the banner of Free Seventh-day Adventists. This movement continues today and is based out of Alabama under the World Assembly. The Free SDA churches are helping self-supporting churches to network among like-minded churches and to maintain their unique denominational identity. We also help in the area of health crusades, bible revivals, and foreign missions.
