Kacen’s Kare is the dream and creation of our owner, Darlinta Garrison, whose mother in December of 2019 suffered a stroke and needed medical care. It was Darlinta’s greatest gift to serve her mother as her caregiver and allow her to remain in her home near family and friends. Darlinta cared and watched her mother as she battled Dementia which slowly progressed to Alzheimer’s Disease. Darlinta performed caregiver duties for her mother for almost a year until her passing in October 2020. This passion and empathy led Darlinta to start Kacen’s Kare, a Professional In-home Caregiver Service that focuses on helping the Senior Citizens of Kenner, Louisiana, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, and St. James Parishes (River Parishes) to remain in their homes and age in place with dignity and respect. Darlinta’s goal for Kacen’s Kare is to provide professional caregiver services to the seniors of the River Parishes by focusing on Reducing Hospital Readmissions, providing Heart Health Care specialists, and providing Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care Specialist and educators. Our motto here at Kacen’s Kare is “Personal Care with a Personal Touch.”
