The Centrality of the Gospel We are convinced that the gospel is the message of first importance- always and for everyone. This means that the gospel is not only central and primary in salvation, but also in sanctification; in how christians change and grow. As one author put it, "the gospel is not just the diving board, it's the pool." In light of this, we strive to keep the gospel central and to take our people ever deeper into it (1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Romans 1:16, Titus 2:11-14). The Priority of People We believe God has called us to put a premium on and invest in people; both people inside the church as we live in community together and people outside the church as we serve them and share the gospel with them. In God's design it is disciples (people) who make disciples (people). Our goal is to facilitate relationships and equip our people for this mission of making and maturing disciples (Matthew 28:16-20, 1 Corinthians 12:12-26, Ephesians 4:1-16, Colossians 3:16, Hebrews 10:23-25).
