P.W.A.P improves parenting skills of young mother and fathers-to-be. We provide necessary services, resources,and referrals for them. We encourage them to become the best advocates for their children. Our services include; parenting classes workshops,seminars, and prenatal intervention, facilitated by Certified instructors. P.W.A.P is committed to the continued support for the youth. We provide a more extensive program designed to enhance, rebuild and repair the parental bond between them. Our services include; family counseling, prevention/intervention classes and assistance with their education and career goals facilitated by Certified instructors. Parents with a Purpose is committed to the continued support for families within the community through meetings, activities, and services.

The Jules Hutton Christian Institute exists to teach children and expose them to the best academic program curriculum at every level of their development. Preparing them for the 21st Century in a Multi-Cultural student-centered environment. To train the whole child, mind, soul, and body with special emphasis on the at risk student. To instill a moral consciousness, concept of right and wrong and lead to an awareness of the existence of God. We believe and teach faith in the Holy Bible, God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit. No child is excluded on the basis of race, creed, religion or gender.

We are a traditional "High Episcopal" liturgical Church with an African-American Evangelical and progressive style of preaching and music. We are on Comcast Public Access TV and we have a radio show on WBGX, AM1570. We have ministry to returning veterans and wounded soldiers. We minister to families and single mothers with children. We welcome singles, GLBT people, married couples, and divorced and remarried couples. Many of our members are from Africa and the Islands. We minister to the elderly and the poor. We are looking for committed Christians who want to make a real difference in the world. We are the church for you.
