I am currently a 4th year doctoral student in pursuit of my PhD in Counseling and Counselor Education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) which is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP). I earned a Master’s of Science (M.S.) and an Education Specialist (Ed. S.) degree from UNCG and graduated from the undergraduate program at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of the Arts (B.A.) in Psychology and a minor in Sexuality Studies. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NBCC-NCC #269684) and Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA #A10674). Throughout my doctoral program, I have counseled at the Wesley Long Cancer Center in the Center for Spiritual Care and Wholeness working with people diagnosed with, being treated for, and recovering from cancer, offered crisis support in the emergency department, and counseled people admitted to the behavioral health and palliative care departments. I have also facilitated a Trans Support Group and counseled community members in the Nicholas A. Vacc Counseling and Consulting Clinic. Prior to entering my doctoral program, I worked in a community agency in Lake Charles, Louisiana counseling a diverse array of clients varying in race, gender, socioeconomic status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, ability, and ethnicity. Throughout my counseling career, I have had the opportunity to work within couple and family systems as well as in groups and with individuals of various ages. Additionally, I have presented many trainings and consulted with community stakeholders with regard to affirming practices in work with LGBTIQA populations. I aim to continue counseling families, couples, and individuals in both group and individual structures. I cater to all age groups and provide services to all variations of the familial unit. I believe that each client possesses a beautiful array of skills and strengths that can positively aid in their growth and wellness. My belief in the potential and ability of every client encourages me to take a collaborative role in counseling as I strive to understand the client’s experience within their worldview. Additionally, as a trained Shamanic Yoga Teacher, I offer yoga through private sessions, group classes, and partner yoga. I find the incorporation of the body to be integral to the healing and wellness of the spirit and mind. I look forward to working with you!

Founded in 1998, Lindley's motto is "Partnering with Consumers, Families, and the Community to Provide Exceptional Service to Exceptional People." Our corporate office is based in Greensboro, but we also house offices throughout North Carolina (Burlington, Clemmons, Raleigh, and Wilmington), as well as Tampa, Florida. Lindley primarily provides services through the NC Innovations Waiver, and also offers Private Pay options for families not receiving state funding. We strive to make each day meaningful for both our employees and consumers, and appreciate the work that our staff do on a daily basis. Our day program, Lindley College, offers opportunities for adults that have graduated high school and are looking to continue their social and academic growth. The program can accomodate a variety of students, and strives to provide a "College Life Experience" for age-appropriate learning. What Can I Expect? Welcome! We’re so glad you’re here! Every Sunday at 10:30 am, we worship together in spirit and in truth. When you first arrive at Sharpe Road, there is plenty of guest parking for visitors right up front. You will be greeted by friendly faces that love you and will help you feel right at home. At Sharpe Road, your safety is our primary concern. We are following current CDC guidelines regarding masks, hand sanitizer, temperature checks, and social distancing. Our worship center is setup in a way to keep everyone safe as well. Thank you for your patience as we continue to navigate through the pandemic and serve our Greensboro community. At the conclusion of our Sunday service, we are asking that people exit the building quickly. We encourage you to fellowship outside under the canopy, as well as the parking lot. This is so we can limit the traffic in the building, as well as prepare it for cleaning. What Is The Attire? At Sharpe Road, you are free to come as you are! We have people from all walks of life that express themselves in different ways. We believe that worship is never about what you wear on the outside, but what you give to God from your heart internally. How Do I Know Where To Go? When arriving and entering through the front door, you will meet friendly ushers and greeters that will happily assist you and show you where to go. At this time, members have assigned seating.
