The Friends' run two used book shops, two large annual sales, and other fundraising events all to benefit the Oro Valley Public Library. All staff is volunteer. Please consider shopping in our shops and at our sales and please donated your used books so that we may add them to our shops to raise funds for the Library. All book donations are eligilbe for a tax receipt. Donations accepted during all business hours. You can donated one book or an entire collection!

A FREE SENIOR PLACEMENT SERVICE THAT HELPS GUIDE THE POTENTIAL RESIDENT AND/OR FAMILY THROUGH THE OVERWHELMING TASK OF FINDING AN APPROPRIATE SETTING IF A SENIOR CANNOT LIVE AT HOME ANY LONGER. WE PERSONALLY EVALUATE THE SITUATION. THROUGH DISCOVERY, WE FIND OUT THE CARE NEEDS, THE BUDGET, THE DESIRED LOCATION AND THE TYPE OF COMMUNITY THAT WOULD FIT THE INDIVIDUALS NEEDS. THERE ARE SO MANY COMPONENTS INVOLVED IN THE SEARCH. WE ALSO PRESENT STATE SURVEYS AND HAVE OURSELVES VISITED AND INVESTIGATED EACH OPTION BEFORE ANY RECOMMENDATION IS GIVEN. WE SCHEDULE AND PERSONALLY TAKE THE FAMILY ON THE TOUR OF EACH AND EVERY COMMUNITY AND/OR CARE HOME. WE WORK WITH THE FAMILY OR POTENTIAL RESIDENT IN THE ENTIRE TRANSITION FROM HOME TO COMMUNITY AND/OR CARE HOME.
