Our Philosophy
I believe in adjusting my teaching style to match the goals, abilities, and level of advancement of each individual student, while providing an encouraging, nurturing positive environment.
For students who are preparing for a career in music, lessons focus more intensely on the musical and technical skills needed to succeed in a competitive environment.
Many of my students pursue violin studies as a life-enhancing experience. They are taught with the same care and attention while stressing the musical and performance skills needed to thrive as youth orchestra musicians, college music minors, and future community orchestra players.
When I first hear a potential student play, I often observe that they are studying repertoire beneath their level and moving at a slower pace than required. I believe in moving rapidly through repertoire and technical studies so that students can reach the level of skill they are capable of and stay excited about playing the violin.

We are Divas In Defense Inc., a self-defense system for women and girls empowering them to be Fierce & Fabulous. We offer personal safety classes and self defense workshops in various locations throughout the Nation. In addition, we also provide on-site corporate and private in-home training programs, including specialty training seminars and presentations.
Our range of dynamic and exciting programs covers pre-teens to seniors. From the athlete to the not-so- active, the businesswoman to the student, and the shy to the confident; our courses are intended to educate, promote awareness, build self-esteem and give women the physical and mental tools they need to detect, avoid and escape potentially violent situations.
