The New Mexico Youth ChalleNGe Academy is a 2 phase, 17 1/2 month program that targets youth ages 16-18. The first phase is the Residential Phase, which takes place in Roswell. The second phase is our Post-Residential Phase, which is our mentoring program. The Residential Phase provides a structured, quasi-military training environment in which we focus on the development of the whole person through training in the 8 core components. Additionally, all cadets will be eligible to receive 15-18 college credits from Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell, as well as jobs skills training. The mentoring phase features monthly contact with a trusted adult who helps each cadet stay on track and remain focused on their life goals!

Brian has been an acupuncturist in New Mexico for 25 years. He held clinics in Santa Fe, Los Alamos, Madrid, Espanola, and has treated on the Nambe and San Ildefonso Pueblos. He was active in promoting acupuncture as an option for DWI sentencing and has worked with NADA detox protocol.
