By God's grace, St. Paul Lutheran Church and School began in 1892 as an off-shoot of St. John's Lutheran Church near Marysville. Members of St. John who had moved south into the Darby Plains district wanted to have a school for their children closer to their homes. The establishment of a congregation soon followed. Today, St. Paul Lutheran Church has close to 400 communicant members. We continue to operate a school with 60 students in grades Preschool-8th grade. St. Paul Lutheran School is nationally accredited through the NSLA and through the Ohio Department of Education.
