EGM is currently helping the homeless in rural Northern Lower Michigan by connecting them with the services they need to re-establish themselves back into their communities. We also are able to provide them with temporary emergency shelter through federal and state Emergency Shelter Grants. This is only 3 days until we connect them with a service that will move them forward. Our long term goal is to establish a transition center that will give them 30+ days to reorganize their lives and strengthen their support systems.
