Mission The mission of the Beaufort-Jasper Economic Opportunity Commission is to plan and implement human service programs for socially and economically challenged individuals. The agency will advocate on behalf of our customers in such a manner that their quality of life will be enhanced and less dependent upon governmental services; with the ultimate being, to have them become self-sufficient and productive citizens. We will increase our capacity to achieve results and to achieve partnerships among supporters and providers of services to low-income people, as we help move our customers toward self-sufficiency, while focusing on an outcome oriented approach (addressing some of the national ROMA Goals) and implementing a performance measurement system or any other required alternative
