New Directions Center operates an emergency shelter and a 24-hour hotline for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in Staunton, Waynesboro, and Augusta County. The agency also provides court advocacy services, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, hospital accompaniment, and other services to individuals and families affected by violence, as well as public outreach and education and training opportunities for volunteers, allied professionals, etc.
