We Treat You as an Individual
Even though many drug and alcohol addicts want to quit using, they continue with their self-destructive behavior because they fear the withdrawal process. They will even try detoxing at home, going through violent withdrawals before returning to drug and alcohol use to ease the pain and other symptoms.
At The Haven Detox Center, we know that one of the biggest obstacles to recovery is fear of the withdrawal process. We understand this because we have recovering addicts on our staff who have years of personal experience with withdrawal, as well as experience helping people detox from drugs and alcohol. Our promise to you is that we will provide one of the most comfortable detox processes available today.
While we are a detox center, our facility is designed to feel more like home than a clinical setting. Individuals who go through our detox program wear their own clothes, not hospital gowns. The rooms are warm and inviting with space for personal belongings, and there are no locked doors. Our staff is neither cold nor impersonal. Instead, we treat individuals with respect and dignity.
We believe in treatment not just for addiction, but for the entire body. Many addicts are malnourished when they arrive, so we have a full-service kitchen on site that offers nutritionally balanced meals and snacks. As individuals free themselves from their addictions through individual and group counseling, they also learn about the role of proper nutrition as part of a sober, healthy lifestyle.
